House Dance Classes

I teach house dance foundations, musicality, history, and culture.

House Foundations Session

Build a grounded relationship with house dance through movement, music, and context.

A More Personal Way to Build Your Dance Foundation

This session introduces the essential grooves, footwork, and body coordination that support house dance. I break down each idea clearly, giving you time to understand how the movement feels and how it connects to the beat. The class balances structure with exploration, so you can learn the fundamentals while beginning to find your own voice.

Alongside technique, I share the history and culture behind the form. You will explore how musicality shapes choices, how foundational steps can be adapted, and how freestyle grows from listening rather than memorising. The experience is focused, welcoming, and designed to leave you with tools you can continue practicing beyond the class.

Ideal For

  • Beginners building a strong foundation

  • Dancers developing house vocabulary

  • Students seeking deeper musicality

  • Anyone curious about house dance culture

How It Works

  1. Grounding In: Begin with warm-up patterns, grooves, and the rhythm of house music.

  2. Building Skills: Study foundational steps, transitions, and musical choices through guided practice.

  3. Finding Expression: Apply the material through freestyle exploration and personal movement.
